Title: indicators wont self cancel

have fitted new switch still not working cannot see what operates them its on a 2.6 y reg  elite any ideas what to check

hi matey..i had the same trouble and it was ...the airbag ring..( squib )     which is located underneath your steering wheel....the steering wheel has to come off to get at it.....i found that mine had broken and therefore would not cancel indicator stalk on left hand turns...i made sure of the part number..and bought  one off ebay  job done..easy......just read up on disconnecting the wiring to it before you do it..worth a try maybe...
