Title: Air con service intervals

What is the recomended sevice interval for servicing the air conditioning? Is there any method for knowing if it needs to be serviced other than than the subjective one of it does not seem to be cooling the inside of the car as well as one thought it used to.

Dont think there is one as usage could vary alot for each car. I would agree with you that the sign of needing a top up is when it does not blow as coldly. Another signs could be if you notice bad smells coming through (due to bacteria build up)

usally every 2 years,remove old gas and oil and recharge,test etc
