I need to sort the front axle pin out next, and paint the gear lever assembly (might do that tonight!)

Looking good - I bet that paint hides a huge number of hours of hard work!

Is that a Brammer belt in trendy orange?  Or is it a leather one of some sort?

We used to have that kind of drive belt on bits of kit where I used to work. They are man made strips that cover 3 of the fasteners so each faster has the middle & each end of 3 seperate strips, you can have a drive belt as long or short as you want. They can be a bugger to get each T shape faster through the various holes in the strips.

Most do have a chassis, this being a small one means that the chassis is:

Front pivot mount - Engine/Sump (Mostly the sump!) - Bell Housing/Front gearbox section - Rear gearbox section - Rear diff.

So no major support other than the castings!

And yes it is a leather multilink belt, quite rare these days to

It's very blue! (He says, with a blue engine block sitting in the garage)

You painted over all the bolts, I notice - I presume you're not expecting any unexpected leaks :)

Empire Blue dear boy!

Okay, okay - I stand corrected! :-[

'Tractor Blue' must be the lighter shade applied to later models (late '60s onwards)? :-\
