Title: fuel flap on vec b locked.

jus come to the local pump to fill up, but the veccy fuel flap doesnt want to open, tried locking/unlocking the car with fob and key, no luck, disconnected batt and put on, still no luck. Any other place anybody know i should be looking at please!! TIA

forgot to add car doors are unlocking as normal..

Omega has a manual release inside the boot .. does the veccy have similar ???

I knew it manual release for the boot,but didnt know it had one for the fuel flap. :-\

had a look inside the boot, behind the tail lights were the first aid lit usually is, but nothing like or similar to a lever there.

On a Vectra open the boot and the driver's side cubbyhole, reach in right to the inside of the body panel and reach forward behind the bracketting.
The flap lock solenoid is held in place only by two plastic clips. Press the solenoid assembly slightly toward the inside of the car, pull back on the whole solenoid while releasing the outer side clip. Once you feel that clear the solenoid, press the inner side clip whilst pulling gently back on the solenoid. The solenoid complete with the lock pin should become free.

Same thing happened to my Vectra 'b', I 'fixed' it by thumping the fuel filler flap whilst using the key fob to activate central locking, it's been fine since...
