Had a link from a colleague before I knew it I am a member.

Anyway anyone else on it here?

Yup - all of a sudden I'm getting emails and 'reminders' ???

Where that came from I don't know!
And how my brother is linked in i've no idea! ???

I joined coupla years ago to get back in contact with someone who I had lost track of. It has been useful perhaps one more time since then. Recently I am getting an increasing number of requests to connect from people I barely know. Most times I only accept them if they're already a buddy - which makes it a bit pointless really.

Disappointingly, I haven't found a group (in the areas that I work in) that's actually worth being a member of.

It can be a handy early warning system to alert you to people who feel under threat in their job - suddenly they want to be connected to everybody, and they're updating their job histories etc.

Not very valuable, but harmless, IME.

Yes I am on it, I find it a good way to organise work contacts. Seems so much simpler than f***book or similar.

Happy with it  :)

Oddly enough I had an e-mail this morning from them asking me to login and confirm my e-mail address and I had never heard of them up to now or ever had any contact with them!! :o

I was linked to several things in the past but thankfully survived - reputation intact/ish.
