Title: avatars???

help needed please,
ive learnt how to post pics in the gallery now,
but i cant manage to put one of my own pics into my avatar,
can anyone tell me step-by-step how to do it,
sorry for being dim,
cheers.

Host your avatar off site; like for a picture in gallery.

Click tab, 'UserCP'....then click: 'Profile'....'Options' (confirm password).....'Edit Profile'.....tick "I have may own pic" then enter the URL of your hosted picture (BTW: don`t make the avatar image too large)...'save'.  :y

Put Avatar in Photobucket Go to User CP [see tabs  at the top]

i.e
User CP › Edit my profile  › Options

Put check mark in have my own picture . Then put link to picture
in the box.

Avatar needs to be correct size.

Tick i have my own pic. Then just drag & drop from the photo bucket page that you've opened.

i,m using photobucket, which 1 of the 4 codes under the pic do i copy?

but they all have http in them  :-/

finally sorted this,
the problem was, i,d already used this image to post pics in the gallery earlier and it would,nt let me use it twice,
i re-named the pic and all,s ok,
