Title: Part number query
Post by: albitz on 14 October 2011, 18:50:09
Bought a set of camcover gaskets off the bay.Genuine VX (for one bank) complete with o-rings.
Going from memory I think they may look a bit thicker than Omega camcover gaskets - possibly for a Vectra ? :-\
Numbers on packaging are     GM 24450871  56.07.469      GR.0.289

The P/No I have on my last receipt is:

V0090511451 - WAL07A CAM CVR GSKT

Which probably doesn't help you much since it seems totally different to the number you've got..

I have a new set at home for the other bank,which I imagine will be the same P/N as yours.If these arent Omega,Im guessing they are for a Vectra (possibly) but could do with finding out.

Anyone got a v6 vectra with leaky covers ?  ;D ::)

Googling the GM number suggests Vectra.

Dont care,just need to find a vectra owner who wants a set of gaskets. I paid next to nothing for them,so should make a profit - which will be a novelty these days. ::) ;D
