TB and myself took the cats of my 3.2 project as all 4 exhaust studs needed drilling, it took some time, but perseverance by TB got the job done.
While they were off, we thought it would be a good idea to get the sensors moved, to stop the standard 3.2 pre-cat sensor codes.
Luckily pink was due a vist to Brackley, so I dropped the cats off TB towers on my way back to London.
Just been told they have been done & ready to fit back to the car! :D :D :D :D

I think you owe pinky some hole cutters tunnie - his didn't survive the chat with your exhaust....

The ones from Brackley DIY lasted about 0.75 of a hole, so not those ones ;D

Would a step cutter work better for drilling those holes? Unless, of course, the step cutter is so long by the time you get to the required size that it's gone in one side of the exhaust and out the other ;D

Step cutters and hole saws dont last very long as the steel is rather hard!
I find a rotabroach works well though

The faithful JCB ones ::) died a death yesterday with Tunnies CAT's.... I have done several O2 sensor moves now and his battered my Faithful & a Chocolate Brackley DIY one ;D ;D ;D ;D

I have seen these used but never used one myself Master.... will see into getting one or two if they are better than holesaws :y
