Ok i have made a boob,was changing the door/kerb illumination bulb,not thinking i touched the holder with a metal screwdriver(couldnt use fingers to get bulb out),i now have no courtesy or a glove box light,checked fuses,all ok,stereo works etc.used amp meter,no power to door illumination light,am i missing something(different fuse etc,i checked all fuses un der steering wheel,all ok) or have i done something major... :'( :'( :'(

Is there a fuse in the time delay relay that dims the interior lights after you shut the doors?

andy,i looked at the wireing diagram in the haynes manuel,if it is correct there is only 1 fuse on the circuit and thats f12,unless im being thick...

I really struggle with the tiny print in the Haynes manual :( but it looks to me as though the puddle lights (as well as some other things that one wouldn't expect) are fed from F20?
My previous question about the time delay relay probably isn't relevant as it looks to me as though the time delay doesn't serve the puddle lights.

Andy,i was just testing to see if you looked at my profile ::) ::)car updated,2002 2.6 cdx..have been out all day using baby car,will recheck fuses....my knowledge of electrics is............0...just ask twiglet...i fix people not cars ;)

nah trust me,modern cars are a pain in the axxe...people are so much easier to diagnose and fix.....and cheaper... ;D
