as above. water and dirts in the gap. can this be remedied without having to but new plates?

Although new plates tend to take a couple of years off a car, visually, as they get quite faded over time. :y

hmmm thats a good point. i would also like the ones with GB on the blue strip :y
are they expensive do you know and where to purchase?

£10+ each. Halfrauds make them while you wait, though most motor factors will do them, failing that, stealers :y

I was under the impression that number plate manufacturers needed to see the v5 for the vehicle and the driving licence of the person requesting new plates?

That's what is supposed to happen but the online boys seem to get away with it by selling "show" plates.

I don't doubt that for a second Rob,its just a way to get around the regs.I have the license to sell number plates and the list of requirements is a pain in the arris.

I got mine from the local vx dealer ;) I know them in there so they knock me a bit off but, £19.something for the pair, 'gb' and surround and 3d lettering so like 'all the extras' lol
Which reminds me, is '3D' lettering still legal????

:o :o in this day and age?....... I am no computer expert, a good example is I am going to have to go to Tesco to get them to decipher Miss Vamps phone bill, but I can manage ebay, do loads of shopping on it.... :D :D
