Hi Guys,
I need some advice from a leccy techie about my interior lights. Is it possible for ALL the interior and puddle lights to illuminate when ANY door is opened.
Thanks in anticipation, Ray.
Great site btw :y

Not the way GM wired it. ;) Two are courtesy lamps & the other two are map reading lights. :y

Hi,
I will be able to connect the interior and map lights together, thats not the problem. I want all the door lights, together with all the interior lights, front and back to come on whatever door is opened.Maybe I didn't make the problem clear.

You made it perfectly clear ;) The answer is still the same though... Not the way GM wired it ;)
You've answered your own question in as much as you know you need to play with the wiring to achieve this :y
Personally, I can't see any reason why you'd want to do this... The lights that do come on are bright enough to destroy night vision so having them all come on would be far too much IMHO :-\

One of the few 'upgrades' that the Omega had over the Senator before it ::) ::) ;) was that they split the interior lights up so that puddle lights in the doors & rear courtesy lights only came on with that specific door. The Senator however was wired as you want ie ALL lights came on when ever you opened any one door. The draw back of this is, when working in/on the car with the door open for long periods, you could very easily flatten your batery ............ as I did several times.
If it ain't broke ............ don't fix it. :y
