Title: rear high level brake light

Next question,   I have some of the leds out on the the light in the irmy spoiler. Before I take it out and look, can they be repaired/replaced or do I need a new unit. am hoping I can repair as I dont like the thought of the price of a new one.

I have a spare high level brake light but it's not from a spoiler, it's just the regular one from inside the car. Perhaps it would be possible to swap either the whole light unit over or just use it to provide replacement l.e.d.'s...
