...the engine,box,diff,front seats,doorcards,rear shelf,wheels and other smallish parts removed ? :-\ ;D
When I spoke to the man at the scrappy today,I said imo it will still weigh over a ton. He said "no chance".
Will find out tomorrow (assuming the weighbridge isnt rigged) who is right. My thinking is that if it weighs 1600+ kgs when roadworthy, the parts Ive removed shouldnt weigh more than 500kg in total.
Opinions please, just for a laugh.I will report my findings tomorrow. :)

I know I had a shock when I weighed my old Elite estate on a weighbridge, car empty with half a tank of fuel it was 1935 kg,no wonder it liked a good drink :-\

::) Final weight depends on how much water you can persuade to stay within the seat foam and petrol tank! ;)
-
Petrol tank has a hole in it where the petrol was drained out. ;D...............seat foam might be an idea. ::)

When I weighed the CDX in all i'd removed were the seats, cats, rear calipers, bonnet, front bumper, air con condenser, rad, head lights and a couple of small bits and bobs but I put loads of old wish bones and disc's in there and it weighed 1320kg

Weighed the car in and it weighed 980 kgs.So I was a little optimistic, but not that far out. :)
