im in the middle of doing my sound system, and was wondering if there is an easy way of running the 12v supply to the amp which is mounted in the boot, had a quick look but as it is now starting to get dark i cant see a way of running it,any help is appreciated :y

The best way, IMHO, is to come off the battery with a fuse rated correctly for the cable you are running, through one of the large rubber grommets by the pollen filter (you can usually thread a knitting needle through here, followed by the wire), then down behind the passenger side kick panel, under the sill trims, behind the back seat cushion and into the boot in front of the spare wheel (saloon).
I ran mine round the rear of the boot under the plastic slam panel trim, and into the first aid compartment cubby hole where the amp is mounted.

thanks for the advice,i did see the big grommet earlier, will do that 2moro if i get back early from work, thankyou :y

Just be aware that one of the smaller grommits is also used for the rear washer pipe on estates and that makes it a bit tighter. But if you have a saloon then its easier :y
