That looks very neat indeed!

Maybe not, but I have some pointing to do and a patio that is in serious need of sorting, given the price it might be worth the risk...... :-\ :-\ :-\

Most of the back of my house could do with repointing.. :(

But no, this is not me volunteering to be the first to test it.. ;)

Haven't used this one but have tried the giant mastic gun type.  It certainly gave reasonable results despite my lack of skill, although the nozzle was too small and the constant pumping was tedious - things that seem to have been addressed with the "pointmaster".

The secret of success was mixing to the right consistency.  Plasticiser is very important to avoid constipation.   ;)

I'd give it a try if I had a big old stone wall.   :y

Which is something I had in mind for when I eventually get round to the the pointing, I think, in theory that this should work.. :)

You could get hold of an empty silicone sealer tube and sealent gun and experiment with that to if it will do the job, before you spend £20 on something that may not do what you want.

This may work anyway and save you £20.  :y

i've got one around somewhere.....

the issue is "big old stone wall"

if it's well dressed neat stone,   then fine, it'll be great,  likewise bricka nd blockwork, not to mention patio slabs.

but forget crazy paving or irregular stonework...   if you have anything other than pretty straight stonework, then forget it and do it the old fashioned way...   it's quicker and less hassle.
