Title: Pairing/depairing question
Post by: MaxV6 on 03 November 2011, 11:06:53
before i go and do something stupid....

would i be right in surmising that my GID needs to be still in situ to be de-paired....     so,  basically, it has to be de-paired, then physically removed, then the CID fitted, then that be paired up (yes the CID is in delivery mode)

was contemplating trying to fit the CID tomorrow afternoon ,  just coz i'm impatient....

Far as I know GIDs are swappable, it's only CIDs that need pairing to NCDC

I can confirm......that you are wrong  :y

GID's are paired in the same way CID's are so Max is correct.

When upgrading from GID to CID is it a straight swap (other than the process of depairing/pairing via tech2) or is it more involved than that ?  :-\
