Title: Sharp Pulling to the left
Post by: ACKERS on 03 November 2011, 15:50:00
Hi,my car pulls to the left sharply when braking & the distance between the two front wheels & the wheel arches are different.  The drivers wheel arch is practically touching the wheel but the passenger side is a good 2-3 inch gap  :-[ I have been to a garage I use & they can't find anything wrong with it  :'( any ideas would be great  ;D

My first thought is the wishbone bush shot, and kicking out under breaking...

Brake inbalance or wishbone related!
What does the steering wheel feel do while it's pulling?

Wheel arch gap could be a number of things related to wheel position. Failed bushes, subframe position, accident damage, bent wishbone.

Wishbone bushes are most likely to need replacing. But the pull could be brakes related. Push the wheel for and aft with your foot, if there's a load of slop, fubar bushes.
