Got in this afternoon to find my son`s X Box connected up to the big tv in the living room. He was nowhere to be seen so i asked the wife why it was downstairs instead of up in his room. Apparently Modern Warfare 3 is being released, and he is in bed at the moment because he has pre-ordered it and is collecting it tonight at midnight from our local Sainsburys. He plans to play it through the night when he gets back. Looks like we wont be seeing much of him for the next few days then....

mate bought it, waiting to hear what its like, think I will stick it out with Battlefield 3 for a while

I relented and bought Forza 4 (and GT5) the other day.. I couldn't bring myself to buy Battlefield 3 or MW3 on the basis that I don't want to pay good money just to be repeatedly shot by 12 year olds.. ;D

I'd of taken the fuses out of the Xbox and TV plugs before going to bed - just me, can't help it ;D

Have to agree there, ill also stick with BF3 because its a vastly superior game in my opinion :)

I do like the way you can fly planes, helicopters, drive tanks etc It is however in my opinion annoying that everytime you get in a jet plane someone blows you up.... or if lucky enough to get off the ground then chase another plane or helicopter you only have a machine gun to shoot at them.... then someone locks onto you then blows you up.... ::)
Also the Graphics are Brilliant on BF3....
After playing it and also having MW3 I have to say MW3 is for me a better game to play :y

Was wondering that, BF3 has far better graphics than any of the COD series, its more realistic. Tanks, trucks planes are cool. Hard to fly though i'm finding.
I miss the final kill cam, when in team deathmatch, just ends suddenly.
I'll stick it out with BF3, then get MW3, think i'll ask for it for christmas :)
