Title: Wheel alignment. anyone used Drury Lane in Oldham?
Post by: PaulW on 20 October 2006, 15:48:26
Got the car booked in for a full geometry calibration on Monday at 8:30 in the morning (traveling from liverpool), but just wondering if anyone has used them before?

I guess the reputation they have over on WIM is good enough!  But just seeing if any fellow Omega owners have used them, and how they would rate there service!

I had the NSF Droplink replaced for the MOT in August, and foolishly never got the alignment re-done...  There is still a click on the steering when turning the wheel (at exactly 5pm mark) so I will need to look into this also, but the NSF tyre has worn on the outside, and is now getting a bit bald... Not legal!

So instead of getting new tyres, a friend of mine was recently breaking a Calibra Tubby which had 16" Vectra SRi wheels on, with pretty new tyres! (say 200miles on each) although the sizes differ (2 x 205/50R16,  2 x 205/55R16) so I should be ok matching the 55 profile tyres to the rear, and the 50's to the front...  I hope!

Anything else I should ask them to check while its in?

Cheers

Paul
