Title: new member with 2.5 auto diesel est

Hi I joined the forum recently I have a 1998 2.5 auto diesel est in fairly good condition and I have been pleasantly suppressed by the comfort drive and economy, everything is fine apart from slow change up in the gears and in low gears some slippage I wish to check the gearbox level but can not find the dipstick
can you help
