Title: hmmm, is this the end or........
Post by: Bacon Butty Man on 11 March 2008, 20:30:16
a very bright future :-/ :)
Weather or not you know, i along with my wife own and run a small claims management company for bank charge reclaims, We have been informed last week by the ministry of justice that we can now spread our wings further, we can now take on personal injury claims, but, as we are not solicitors we cannot run them, we have approached a solicitor who will process our cases for us and we get a referal fee, the finer details are to be hammered out tomorrow in a eating with the lawyer. my thought are am i wise getting involved with a solicitor, but we want our business to grow, we have been trading for 18 months now and need to grow. any thoughts ideas welcome, OH and if you have any accidents or bank charges bear us in mind, Cheaper rate on bankcharge reclaims for any OOFER :)

In a past life I worked with loads of solicitors -- most are not that bad ( as long as they don't represent the ex!!). My advice would be to find one you feel comfortable working with. Like every walk of life, some are good, some are bad -- if you don't like him - don't work with him.

As for being wise to work with one -- should be no worries there -- it's Barristers you have to keep an eye on !!!!!

I WILL be in contact doing Halifax charges myself and MBNA.

First time it happened talked nicely - cancelled

18 months later happened again. They would not get rid of one, so I wrote to the bank manager threatening them with moving accounts - result!
