it just lies in its basket and dosnt move.

YES, 2.5 V6 1998, SMOKE COMMING OUT OF THE EXHAUST MOSTLY WHEN STATIONARY WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, CANT SEE ANY WHEN DRIVING IF THIS MAKES SENCE

Have you checked the plugs for oil? I assume its burning some?
