How does the lamp check work?

I am fairly certain that the full current to the lamps does not pass through the TID/MID/GID/CID because the pins on the grey plug look too small to me to carry the current.

Is there a dedicated lamp check module somewhere?

Hmmm. Haynes says "P25 Bulb failure sensor".

The diagram is too small to read without assistance  :( if I can find some reading glasses  ::) I want to see how many wires link it to the check control (TID/MID/GID/CID)
