Hi all,
I changed bulbs in my dash & climate control last week, but not been out in the mig since. Went out today and I've got no heat coming in although the climate system is showing temp etc, it's ice cold still :-\
Can someone give me an idea of what I may have done to cause this as it was working perfectly prior to me changing the bulbs?
TIA :y

Chances are one of the multiplugs in the rear of the climate panel is not fully home, when turning off do you get -- in the temp displays?
-
Hadn't noticed tbh and I've just riped out the console again thinking I'd done something behind, lol ;D ;D ;D ;D
Will plug the climate in and check now :y

Hi mark, been out & I do get the -- when I switch off. What does that mean please?

It says there is a fault code (needs a code reader to read).
Most common cause is the left hand connector not being fully inserted and its this one that controls the blend flaps etc (check both connectors!)

having now purchased this car im looking at resolving this problem.
the blower motor doesnt turn at all, is it worth me ripping the panel out again for another check or could it be more blower motor related?.

well, ripped all the glovebox out, cable trays/heater pipes. prodded the feed into the heater blower & low n behold it started working. dodgey connection on motor. but what a bloomin job that was. :D

Nightmare :o
All's well that ends well though! I guess ???

Anything behind the dashboard is a pain in the 'arris... too much chance of breaking something plastic. Give me cogs any day.

Hi Jon,
I'm relieved to hear that it was nothing more than a loose connection mate! I feel very relieved at that :y
