I have come across this nice quad exit exhaust that is currently fitted to a 3.0V6 Facelift Omega Saloon, I was wondering if the the backbox would just bolt or fit straight on to my 2.2 16v Middle pipe? Or is there a lot of modifying needed to be done?
Cheers

3.0l backbox is twin entry, your 2.2 will be single.
-
If the "quad exit" is fitted to standard centre boxes on the MV6 it`ll fit straight on to a 2.2

Thanks.
This is the link to the car with the exhaust I want to buy on it. But not sure if it is just the backbox on to standard pipes or a cat back system.

no link there

Sorry, thought I had added the link :D ;D

what the hell is that on the front bumper
would you not need the bumper aswell ????
im sure you could make the exhaust fit yours

i would collect in person if i was buying anything off that seller
i smell a rat but maybe its just me :-\

I would only do a cash on collection jobby and I do agree the guy comes across as evasive! I originally enquired about the rear lights thinking that they were fully tinted and then took a closer look and realized they aren't and in my opinion look rubbish. But the guy wanted £75 for the set delivered, but I can't get hold of him since. But info handy to know on this thread as I have seen a fair few v6's being broken with nice exhausts fitted.

Can't see it fitting, looking at positions. That single crap photo does not do much to show it. But a genuine Irmscher would fit as the offside pipe runs between fuel tank and bumper.
You need an underneath shot to see how they have gone around the fuel tank.
2.2 from factory does have twin centre sections, but only one down pipe.
Only part you can ever use from a V6 is the back box

lot of smoke from that car ??? ???
and as tunnie says you need to see how they have gone round the fuel tank ??
pimped up omega's hate them >:(

If you do a little digging you find a video just for the exhaust:

Says thats for sale, but the auction has ended.
Going by the sound alone, thats a custom Stainless steel job, which means it won't fit.

bonnienclyde, yep, seem to remember they never used to let their engines warm up, before given it full revs.
