This afternoon as I was working on her Smart I managed to snap the M6 terminal of the 12v connection of its 'SAM' (fuse box & ECU) You can see it right in the middle of this picture http://www.fq101.co.uk/images/stories/reference/insidesam10.JPG It's only brass & I must've been a little heavy handed ::) ::) ::) Anyway I drilled & tapped for a M6 stud & all is well. I looked at removing the post from the board - it's bolted & soldered - but my largest iron wasn't big enough.
What's the name of the post in case I wanted to buy another - a quick Google has failed. :-\ :-\

if you've drilled and tapped and fitted new stud the jobs a good'un,why fit new ???

Probably won't, I was just curious as to what they are called ............... just in case I did ::) ::) ::) ;D
