Hi,
Im about to buy 2x 64gb SSD ard Drives. I know the positives of them (improved speed) , but is there any negatives i should know about?
;)

Hmmmm......what make?
I assume they are Flash based technology which has major problems when it comes to reliable storage, its fine for media where the odd bit error makes no odds, but for applications it can be disasterous!
Remember also that write speeds are slower due to the block write nature of NAND flash technology.

Lifespan. The things only do so many read/write operations before the physics of the technology start to take their toll.
Price per GB is huge compared to magnetic storage.

And there not reliable storage, did I mention that before because, there not reliable storage.

I don't think they're reliable storage ::)

Have I not mentioned the fundamental design defect I have had to manage recently due to compact flash with alzheimers.....
