Spoke to my auto box man re some stuff, and mentioned ac compressors on omega, as mine has green dye leaking from the bottom, as do some others on here. The ac currently works fine, but green dye means that's bound to be short lived.
He's fairly sure there is a seal kit available, need to get it on a lift and diagnose the leak, and if it is the ac comp. I.D. it and check the kit availability.
But mean time does this sound feasible? TB suggested VX do an exchange service, which suggests they are repairable, although bound to be expensive.
Given mines 03 with limited miles I'm guessing there's little point fitting used....?
Anyone with experience? Pig if a job? Looks like alloy ac piles are in the way of removal. Obviously vacing out the gas complicates matters but my man has all the gear for that.

I've changed one on a 2.0 Omega but that was quite easy due to loads of room to work.

Not that bad on an Omega.
It may well simply be the aircon pipe to compressor seals.
