Title: Introducing Lucky the dog
Post by: omegod on 21 November 2011, 20:48:03
I mentioned a couple of weeks ago we had got a resue dog from the dogs trust, well here she is, settling in nicely and coming out of her shell bit by bit! Any opinions as to what breeds are in her?

Also known as Heinz ( 57 varieties !). We used to have a rescue dog many years ago, she was very intelligent. I think Heinz dogs tend to be more stable, some pedigrees are a little too much inbred.

Very sweet looking dog  :y She reminds me of ours.

Mia is a Patterdale Lab cross, and my guess is she has some Patterdale is her too. They look very similar to me, you will have to see if she develops a beard like Mia has  ;D

Bloody hell she's cute and the double of mine, thought there was some lab in her but hadn't thought patterdale!

Thanks, they do look very similar, Lucky does seem to have a little staffy to her but It is very hard to tell from a pic, Mia didn't look anything like a Patterdale as a pup, we thought lab but didn't have a clue what else.

I'm guessing you don't know how old lucky is exactly but did dogs trust give you a rough idea?
