That'd be me! ::) ::) ::) Depends how the 'ticket' is worded, but as it's a retail park I'd suspect that you can ignore it too.

This, however is not a fine, its a request that you pay a large sum of money for the priviledge of parking over the time limit whilst shopping. As with all requests you have to decide if it is reasonable, just and lawful. If it fails any of these then just ignore it and all following letters. :y

I read this recently:
"The RAC foundation have recently taken legal advice and confirmed that a penalty cannot be levied by private individuals or companies"

Ring them up and tell em to break orft.Thats what I did with Tescos. :y ;D

Will have to show the Mrs this later as im getting serious earache over this!!!!

Put in the big round file, along with any further correspondence.

Tell em you'll see em in court.
Their £50 charge will be reduced to their actual losses which amount to maybe a couple of quid from your excess parking.
Bet they don't take you up on it.

Don't phone or reply to any correspondence. Just ignore it. :y :y :y
I got the initial 'fine' & a further 2 reminders, then nothing more.
