Title: Darn Insurance Renewal
Post by: Radar on 24 November 2011, 22:33:02
Last year paid £348, this year it is £481 (due to getting a SP30) plus an extra £200 on the excess.

To rub salt into the wound my insurer told me it would have been £311 if i hadn't got done for speeding >:(.

I am happy to accept an increase in premium for something that was my fault but i feel the rise is well over a reasonable amount.

Time to shop around methinks!

Mine went up £100 for a no fault accident where my insurers themselves were the third party insurers and they admitted liability. ::) Apparently it still makes me more "at risk", as does walking under ladders, and neglecting to have my tea leaves read presumably. Cretins. Still, they got their just deserts. Voted with my feet. >:(

They might as well reclass it as "bump you're premium accident"
