Title: Condensation inside car

Hi have an issue with condensation inside car when it's damp outside. Have checked filters and drain pipes which are fine. Boot seems wet so was wondering is it a known fault for the rear window seal to leak or tail lights to leak ?

Certainly not a common leak.

Worth checking the cubby hole/bin in the First Aid compartment is clear - this is the exhaust for cabin air, and many people seem to fill it with junk/rags etc, blocking the designed airflow, thus causing condensation.

Hmm . . . . I'm on my second Omega and I've had this problem with both. Windscreen steams up all the time. I'll be watching responses with interest.

have you checked your scuttle drain? also as said leave climate in auto  :y

First place to start, it's amazing how much it gets gunked up.

Often overlooked but worth giving the windows a good clean inside.  I find the autoglym blue cream stuff very good, as opposed to the spray on stuff.

And clear out the scuttle drain.

And dry the pollen filter - or replace it.....

As mentioned in my first post I checked all the drains which were clear and checked the filter which was new. Leaving climate in auto is useless as the condensation is so bad. Have noticed damp in boot on really wet day.
Car is going into my workshop to have everything bar the dash pulled out, I will find the leak :-)

Will let u know the results

Check that the  recirculation air valve is not closed so the air is recirculated in the cabin. It seems that on some older FL Omegas, when the windscreen defrost button is pressed, the air recirculation is automatically activated (software issue). If so, after the defrost button is pressed, press also once or twice the air recirculation knob (the one with arrows circle on it) - with the fan to maximum speed, when the air recirculation is not activated the fan noise is lower than when the air recirculation is on. It solved my windows condensation problem.
