Title: Fantastic MPG

I decided to do my 150 journey last night in a nice and sedate manner. Not "driving miss daisy", but also keeping within the legal limit and also anticipating and taking it steady.

I was amazed to get an overall MPG of 34.3, with the aveage creeping upto 35.5 until the Tom Tom took me the last 20 miles through the twisty bits rather than a longer section of faster road.

I was well impressed for a 3.0 Auto.  :y

If you can keep them at a steady cruise legal speed, they return fantastic MPG.

Can't remember the last time I managed more than 22mpg from a tank in my 3.0l auto ::)
