hello hei guys, I just want to report about the head gasket done some few days ago: I removed the cams and retorqued the bolts 90 +15 degs. One front bolt seems abit weak though. Reassembled everything, I cudn't trace where to fit one pipe at the back of the engine driver's side. I started the engine, it went vroooooom!!!!!!! but vibrating vigorously with rough sound like a 7 tonner truck. I want to go back on it today to see whats happening. if anyone has got ideas, pliz advise, I know there are some experts there. May the Lord bless u all as we are approaching Xmass, gibby

90 +15?
sounds very wrong to me..
thought it was 25, then 4 x 90's or something like that
spare pipe probably auto gearbox breather.
Everything else reconnected? any fault codes?
Ohh, and what engine? any can run rough for a bit after this sort of work.

did you change your cambelt too and placed it right on??
Witch engine are you talking about? Do you have a picture of the pipe.
tought that for a v6 the torq was 60Nm 4x90° 1x 15°

hi guys its a z22se
tightening should be
25nm
90deg
90deg
90deg
optional 15deg tolerance turn
op originally only done first 3 stages re- http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=96225.0
but did start car with the torque settings that he had done

Does it idle at normal speed?
Can you describe the noise a little more? Is it a knocking sound, tapping or is the engine just misfiring? Can you listen around the engine to determine where the sound is coming from? Up front under the cam belt cover perhaps? Top end under the cam cover? bottom end?
Can you read the fault codes from the engine ECU?
