Post by: Squatch on 01 December 2011, 19:28:55
Hello everyone - the HBV was leaking so I changed it and no leak anymore..but now no heat! As this was not a problem before, any ideas what I may have done wrong?

Help much appreciated as always :y

Pipes are definately correct but air lock...that sounds very possible. How can I 'burp' the system? Would I need to take HBV off again? :'(

Mine done this. my mate ended up filling system up n pulling one of the heater matrix pipes off with engine running. Load of air come out and then quickly put pipe back on when water was flowing. Seemed to work for me

thanks everybody - bit dark out now but I'll give it a go tomorrow. Does the engine need to be hot for this?
