Thanks, yeah been looking for a couple of weeks & then this one appeared the only reason he is selling is that their dog died ! no longer needs an estate as they want to be pet free for a while so have bought a new Astra to cheer themselves up car is totally mint inside, with one little scratch on the rear bumper ,which he apologised for not getting seen to!! Taxed for 6 months and mot till July recent battery & two new rear tyres .

Crazy, I feel like a kid on xmas eve waiting for Santa !! but I really should try & buy a car in the summer months next time, when you can spend more time washing & waxing & admiring them .

Nice one...... :y Your wife may find it a bit slower than a Subaru, I had enough problems with swmbo when she went from a V6 Galant back into a Mig, she is OK now though and not interested in changing or updating......women, I will never understand them.... ::) ::) ::)

Yeah know exactly what you mean, she still reckons one of the best cars she had was her little Metro 1.1s felt like driving a dodgem to me !

Well it is home now, & what a find I have never seen a service record like it before , every bill/receipt in order in a ring binder I might even add it all up when I get time, one for the exhaust system for £765.00 only 2 years ago, I hope I am never presented with a bill like that!!Drove 126 miles home at up to legal motorway speeds & took 16 litres to fill up that is 36 MPG in a 2.2 petrol auto ,only fault I could find is that the sun roof control does not illuminate when the lights are on .I really need a double garage now ,just hope weather is good enough tomorrow to start getting it up to my OCD standard!!!

I much prefer detailing (OK, OK, cleaning) in the cold - much less effort and you're not fighting the sun.

Well out their bright & early this am washed vacumed glass all cleaned, wifey drove it for the first time & loves it ,was envious of the 2006 sound system in mine but now she has one of her own as well .I must admit I thought the 2.2 might feel underpowered in comparison to my 2.6 saloon but it performs really well .Already arranged for the scratch on rear bumper to be sorted so all in all a good weekend even if it is raining now!!
