I have recently ,for some reason been constantly revisiting the music of Bad Company. Just good old "hit you between the eyes" straightforward rock music.I think Paul Rodgers has to be the greatest rock singer ever to grab a mic.

I had never actually played bass before,I was a lead player but being young and cocky, I thought "how hard can it be?" - anyway, I got the job but soon got bored with it. I soon realised the lead guitarist was shite - i.e. he couldnt actaully play any lead,so in a break between songs one day I picked his guitar and played this Zep song pretty much note for note. He never spoke to me again and I left shortly after. A while after that he also left and they asked me to rejoin playing lead. Told them to break off, of course. ;D
Couldnt do it now though - talent went when my hair did. :'( ;D

...my we are Mr positive these days arent we.

Although with any of my personal favourites, playing too much kills them. At a certain point the magic of a track just disapears. ??? Find myself thinking "is that even the same track...?" :'(

Post by: mantahatch on 04 December 2011, 13:15:31: Couple of weeks back went to see a strange trio of bands at Southampton Guildhall, UK Subs, Anti Nowhere League and Motorhead. I went for the first two bands but sayed and watched Motorhead for a few songs then left. I found Motorhead to be quite boring and unnecessarily loud. I know live music is best loud but they where OTT.

Would never bother to see them again. But would def go and see UK Subs again anytime. :y
