A plan to open a barbers with topless staff in Norwich is facing opposition.

The Qube bar in Prince of Wales Road, the city's nightclub district, could be run as a daytime salon with topless stylists.

OK, so who's complaining exactly?

Gary Thompson, of GT barbers near Qube, said: "I think it's an absolutely ludicrous idea and I've been speaking to the hairdressing industry here in Norwich and everyone thinks it's ludicrous and hopes it doesn't get the go ahead.

"I think it's a gimmick - I can't see the connection between barbering and nudity."

I am just so surprised he said that. ;) ;D ;D ;D

Several years ago the pub here in the village was struggling so the landlord decided to have topless barmaids on a Sunday lunchtime.
Couldnt get in through the doors,they came from miles around for a Sunday lunchtime pint. ;D ;D ;D

It's OK. I can outrun them. Swimming is another matter (webbed feet, you see). ;)

Anyway, I've thought this through and... hairy boobs. Hmm. :-\ Not so sure, now.

It doesn't state whether male/female - last thing I would want is a topless male cutting my hair!

They have these sort of attractions in one of the bars now and then and it does work, the place is always rammed and there are just as many girls in there as there are lads, over the years I have not heard one complaint so this could be a winner. At the end of the day its a bit of fun and only the morally/Mary Whitehouse types as well as the competition are the likely to complain. It would'nt bother me beats staring at my ugly mug in the mirror whilst getting a hair cut :)

this is based on the assumption the ladies are doing the all the work
