As some may know, my Rad has been leaking for quite some time.
I managed to pick up a "New, Old Stock" Omega Rad on Ebay for £11 - with £10 delivery.
Described as brand new, never used, a few small cosmetic only marks, from a well rated seller.
Certainly worth taking a punt!!
I paid for it at 3pm on Thursday, and on Friday morning it was delivered.
Now fitted to the MV6, and it's absolutely brilliant, no problems whatsoever. Temp rock solid, and leak solved...
For the ease of being able to fit it over the weekend and get the job done, in case the weather worsens, I bought the red longlive antifreeze from halfrauds, at cost of £24 - so the whole rad change, inc coolant replacement, cost £45 exactly.
The best part - the seller told me he may have quite a few more, and is checking. I will provide an update on that :)
