hi all
when i bought my omega the garage had over filled the engine whith oil [about 1inch above the max level] will this cause oil to be blown out of the breathers

It might blow out the crank seals
need to drain off oil and get it back to the correct level

ok willdo thanks very much for help

It can blow out from all sorts of places, including up past the rings, causing hydraulicing.I wouldnt drive the car again until it has been brought down to the correct level. ;)

Think that's bad one of our machines at work has two oil fill points imagine the confusion people would face! The lower one MUST be a level plug???
