also try cleaning out your temporary internet files - available in internet options in control panel - a lot of ebay stuff goes in there

Not sure if ebay are having issues? This evening I've been having trouble with their images too. However my internet (AFAIK) seems fine.  :-\

dear oh dear oh dear.

If its a new hub, on the upside, you will get a firmware update in next week or so, and hopefully another early next year ;D

Most cheap ISPs will traffic shape during busy times. Live with it, or get a decent ISP.

ALL ISPs can potentialy suffer contention (congestion) between DSLAM (in exchange/cabinet/DP depending on technology) and the ISP's POP handover, and specific ISPs (generally cheap ones) suffer contention between POP handover and ISP network (as this links are incredibly expensive).

Thats why I pay over £35 a month for one of my DSL lines ;)
