can you change the piugs on a mid from the yellow& black to the single grey plug cheers

you can but its 50/50 if it all works and wire code is different.

Yes you can, but you will need to do a bit of wiring (fairly straightforward, but fiddly as hell)

Get a wiring diagram for both, work out what goes where, strip the pins out of the old plastic plugs, pop 'em in the replacement plug (you will need to acquire a replacement grey plug)
