Mind you, he'd have only got halfway in before he got hooked on my towbar, and only halfway out before his chin got hooked as well.
-
Those of you who are appalled at this should probably never park your cars in Paris ;)

Yup! I work with a Parisian who regularly bounces off the concrete pillars/walls in the office car park and doesn't care one jot, "it's just a car" - fortunately he resists careening off other cars ;D (In his defence it is an awful, awful place to park - a maximum of two spaces between concrete bollards, and at least 70% of the staff don't seem to be able to park; more than once I've got the car squeezed into a space only to find that I can't get out of the door even though the other side of the car is a nanometer from a concrete pillar. It's already claimed some wing mirror paint on the Omega and a scrape on the front end of the MR2, and I consider myself a good parker! :'( )

They park like that in Spain too. ;) ;)
-
i think i might start carrying concrete bollards and a spiked steel fence to put at either end of my car , just in case this breakwit ever decides to "park" anywhere near mine.....
and add an extra couple of nails to my baseball bat..... to be sure...
-
you would have to give him a little slap just to shut him up he is french then maybe a little slap again for bumping your car and they always say it happens in threes so just one more

They certainly do,never hired a car in spain yet that didn't have damage and the last one had only 1200km on the clock when I picked it up :o

I was looking around for someone to ask about an address I was looking for.
Only guy was a Spanish fellow parking. Nice big spot and he hit quite hard the cars either side before settling on a mid point. I gave up thinking about asking as I was laughing so much.
Another time I was actually in the Omega in park and no handbrake on when a smart newish BMW rammed me and moved the car fa bit. I got out to remonstrate and the guy handed me his business card and said if there is any damage to your auto transmission claim via my company! There wasn't and I didn't. I should have claimed for the water loss problem.............
