Last week my girlfriend left the lights on whilst she went shopping (how she never noticed the warning beep is anyone's guess... yes, she's blonde...) anyway, some bozo came to her aid and said he'd jump start my Omega but connected - to + and made an impressive display of sparks :( since then the radio hasn't worked.
I've looked at my manual, radio fuse is #6... which is blank in the fuse box ???
I'm guessing the radio is f***ed now? Is there an internal fuse?
Any suggestions/help appreciated.
*Edit* I've removed and inspected each fuse one by one.

Model of radio would help, but most have a 10A fuse at the rear of them.

CDR 2005. (Siemens VDO).

Take it out and check the fuse at the back :)

CDR500 has a 10A fuse at the back
If blown, (or blows again) may indicate a more severe problem caused by your misconnection of the battery

Right, looks like I'm removing it... how?
Those holes in each corner have something to do with it?

Yup, double din removal keys, from any carshop. Fortunately the CDR2005 comes out easy, so even cheap, nasty, Autoleads removal keys from Hellfrauds will do.
