has any one used this company or are with this company.??

I may share my experience, I'm one of clients of Allianz Hungary and can't tell you anything bad about the company. We have been standing in contracted relation for 7yrs without any problem, I can arrange my issues online as I need or personally, too. Allianz had uncountable office or representative any place I went to in Hungary and anywhere I was officers always helped me as they were able to. Allianz hereby neither more expensive nor cheaper than any of other company, I like that Allianz holds up office in even the smallest village regardless of number of population. I add it is insurance company and a bank in one. Although I'm living here I'm sure there isn't, mustn't be any difference between services. Good luck for choice ! Laszlo

did a lot of Commercial Insurance with them - huge company - good reputation
-
I think my glider is insured with them. Only ever dealt with the broker, though.

They are ze Germans!
Well, the parent company is, anyway. IIRC they underwrite the Post Office insurance schemes; the (German) fella at work who insures his (UK) car with them via the PO hasn't had any problems.
-
AFAIK they have a good (?) reputation

well I got insurance with them 2weeks before the 13th dec, so would start on the 13th, still have no papers they gave me a p.number, had an e-mail that they needed to have my last insurance papers 2 days later so sent them off next day first class. now normaly go's well and papers turn up so can check them, nothing, tryed web site says i dont have an account with them, rang them up on 0845 number 20min on phone no one picked up just bloody music. tryed latter on still the same so put a complant on there web site and it crash's when sending trye'd again and dose the same, went on german site that worked but got e-mail back says that it needed to go to the uk site. not happy, went on ombudsman site says have to wait 8weeks before they can do anything and that im not the only one with a problem with them. so going to try again tomorrow and see if they pick up phone..... >:(

If this is a change of insurance cover or new insurance for the car Freecall I would be inclined to stop driving it until you establish whether or not you're covered to do so.

they repaired the hail dents of clit.. and paid 800 £ ;D
and have good reputation here..

I'm getting cynical in my old age. Anything like insurance docs, tax letters etc get sent Recorded or Special delivery, that way they can't deny receiving them.

If they confirmed it was insured you could have bought tax online :y
