nipped out in car this morning done one mile so engine pretty cold put foot down and bit of white smoke came from exauhstany ideas

Dunno which engine you have (add it to your profile, saves asking each time you have a Q :y ) but common for steam to be seen from V6's when cold and on a cold day. Its condensate from the combustion process and perfectly normal. But keep an eye on the coolant level if you are really really concerned.....
Its also why you see water dripping from the exhaust of some cars..... :y

thanks got 2.5 v6 elite checked all levels water and oil fine and not mixing but will keep an eye on them topped oil up other day could i have put 2 much in wasnt low but needed cup full no leaks under car aswell

a car makes about a ltr of water from initial starting with condensation in exhaust, if like mine thats on lpg the main exhaust gases are water and i see lots of smoke till everything warmed up
