Hey guys.
Car has decided to rattle like hell for a few seconds on start up. Had an oil change a couple of thousand miles ago and all was fine, just started doing this now. After a couple of seconds it's gone. Has fully synthetic 10/40 oil in it, same as usual, and a new GM filter. Normally if it's driven up to temperature and used through the day, it doesn't come back but in the 10 minute drive to work it mustn't warm up enough and the oil drains during the day. When it's been standing in work it'll rattle for a few seconds starting. Oil level is fine - up to the max level on the dipstick.
Any ideas? I'll live with it if it's not doing any harm but if it's going to cause damage, want to sort it out.
Cheers.

have you check the head oil veins. could under stand a second of noisy tappets. what is the idle on cold start?
-
Stick a tin of wynns in it.

As said, try some Wynns lifter treatment after reading instructions on bottle as regards when to change/replace oil etc. :y

And as if by magic, it's stopped on its own.
This car does drive me ::) sometimes.
