Title: Got a couple of codes.
Post by: albitz on 27 December 2011, 12:45:33
At work today and pretty bored,so decided to read the codes - if any present.
Got Airbag 44 - telltale signal low or circuit open
And - Climate control 56 - air quality sensor open circuit.
Ivw cleared them and will read them again tomorrow, but am curious as to what exactly they indicate, especially if they return. :-\

Yep fine.It was on at one point so maybe I forgot to clear the code at the time when I turned the light off. Will check it again after driving the car for a few miles and see if its still clear. :y

Had ign on with dash out at some point, or battery went low.

Polution sensor was not detected by ECC at some point.

See what comes back.

Checked again today. 44 has disappeared. 56 has come back. Also got 19 and 121 (anti theft device codes). Connected to power sounder having been removed,or something unrelated ? :-\

I thought code 19 was indicative of maybe Crankshaft sensor related problem? or am I wrong??  :y

When reading the engine ECU codes yes. This was a code reader reading codes from other ECU,s.Its also possible that I wrote down the wrong number. :-\
