Post by: adey2 on 27 December 2011, 15:09:43
has anyone ever fitted the wrong abs ecu to their car, i have a 3.0 elite facelift auto and the common abs/tc light is on, ecu part number is 0273004206, ive searched everywhere for one of same identity and only found   0273004207, any ideas will be greatly accepted

Give these a bell, see how much to repair. Car can still be driven with ECU removed

I'm not sure that the part number will be sufficient to match your car.  They are programmed to suit, so you either need to know what your replacement one has been programmed for (Tech2 or trustworthy supplier) or get it set up by a Tech2 owner.
