Title: ipad rival

1st off Wooop 500th post.

Anyway, I gotta get someone a pressie was looking at ipads, argos seem to have the what i guess is ipad 1 32gb for £220, but whats the differance with a ipad2?
and more importantly whats the android version that are worth buying?

Many different Android ones out there, Galaxy Tab is about best of the bunch. For a device of that size, you really need Flash, something iPads lack.

iPad 2, its thinner, lighter & considerably more powerful.

For that price, a netbook is more powerful, more usable.

Generally, Netbooks are shite. Avoid.  Says TB, waiting for his netbook to boot up and stop disk thrashing.

As to which tablet, depends what you want from it.  We have a pair of 32Gb Touchpads here, which we use for when we cant be bothered to boot up a laptop.  Probably not as good as a gayPad, but as they were under £110 each.....

I'm still trying to figure out what you do with a computer without a keyboard, other than watch a few Youtube videos then, when you're bored with that, chuck it in the cupboard with your chocolate kettle and your solar powered torch. ;)

my mrs bought me a ipad 2 for christmas   said it would be handy for work  what sodding use is it too a plumber ;D

its not something i'd want, but its what was asked for so just tryin to get the best for money kinda thing  :y   if i want one i will just hold my fone closer to my face or get one of those old lady magnifying things haha  ;D
